Happy Monday guys and as usual, I’ve got a brand new post for you! Today I’m teaching you how to make an Ice Cream Bar (or Ice Cream on Stick) to curb that #RamadanHeat thirst & cool cravings. This recipe (inspired by FitMenCook) will be perfect for that post Iftar consumption, or on hot afternoon (if you don’t observe ramadan), and is definitely the better option as opposed to regular Ice Cream Bars (think Magnum, Nestle etc.). Now let’s get into what you’ll need.
Ingredients: (makes 2)
1 Banana (the riper, the sweeter and if your banana is small, opt for 2 for each stick!)
1/2 Cup of Dark Chocolate (contains at least 60% cocoa and you can just eye ball this tbh!)
2 Popsicle Sticks
To garnish (can be any one of the following):
Blended Choice of Nut
Edible Cake Decorations
- Peel and chop the banana(s) according to the size of your likings, then skewer with popsicle sticks. (I find that the ‘Ice Cream’ will look so much cuter if you were to ensure that they all are same in size!)
- Add them into the freezer overnight.
- The next day, melt the dark chocolate then dip the banana(s) to coat.
- Garnish with the topping of your choice! I used blended walnuts and edible cake decoration toppings.
